Gecko reptiles recovered from train in Assam

Haflong (Assam), Jun 19 : Six endangered Gecko reptiles were recovered from a passenger train by Railway Police today, GRPF officials said.

The reptiles were recovered from Lumding bound up Agartala Express this morning, GRPF OC in Lower Haflong station Amar Jhon said.

A team of railway police was on routine duty and found two abandoned carton in the three-tier coach of the train and on opening them, six reptiles were found inside two boxes, he said.
